Saudi embassy explain visa cancellation for air peace passengers

The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Abuja clarified the visa cancellation for Air Peace passengers, attributing it to their failure to meet entry conditions and submission of inaccurate information.

This statement comes after 264 passengers on an Air Peace flight had their visas cancelled upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, resulting in 177 people being flown back to Nigeria.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Embassy says that upon arrival in Jeddah, discrepancies emerged in the submitted documents, which rendered their visas irrelevant.

The embassy emphasised the necessity of adherence to Saudi Arabia’s regulations for visitors.

The Embassy maintained that this procedure applies not only to Nigerian citizens but also to individuals from various nations.
