Muhammadu Sanusi has been turbaned as the new Emir of Kano for the second time.
The ceremony took place on Friday, May 24 2024, at the Kano state government house.
The former CBN governor was reinstated as the Emir on Thursday, May 24 following the repeal of the law used to dethrone him by the former governor, Umar Ganduje, in March 2020.
The Emir is expected to lead the Muslim Jumat prayers today May 24 at the Kano Central mosque located at the palace in Kofar Kudu.
