Rivers: My One Year in Office Surpasses Their Eight Years – Fubara Criticizes Wike

Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has claimed that his administration has achieved significant progress in infrastructure development within his first year in office, surpassing the accomplishments of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, during his eight-year tenure.

Speaking in Ngo Town at the inauguration of the Andoni section of the Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo Unity Road project in Andoni Local Government Area on Saturday, Fubara asserted that his administration’s project execution has been more effective.

Fubara stated, “As I mentioned previously, we are just getting started. We’ve been in office for about three or four months, but I am very pleased that our performance in this short time exceeds that of those who were in office for eight years. I stand by this and welcome any challenges.”

It should be noted that Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory have been at odds since he took office.

Earlier this week, the governor expressed confidence in overcoming his political adversaries, claiming that they now live in a state of constant vigilance and unrest.
