London, England — Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has expressed strong confidence that new signing Noni Madueke will be a key figure in the club’s pursuit of a title next season.
Following Arsenal’s recent £52 million acquisition of the 23-year-old England international from Chelsea, Rice welcomed Madueke warmly, emphasizing the impact the winger is expected to make.
Madueke, who spent three years at Stamford Bridge, becomes Arsenal’s fourth signing this summer and will don the No. 20 jersey.
In a heartfelt message, Rice praised the club’s collective ambition and highlighted Madueke’s potential to deliver in crucial moments.
“Welcome to the Arsenal family, Noni—my brother. I’m excited to have you here,” Rice wrote. “We have an incredible squad, and everyone is eager to play alongside you. Together, we’ll create special moments and chase the success this club deserves. You’ll be a huge part of that journey.”
Rice added, “Knowing you both personally and as a player, your arrival sends a strong message. You’re going to be incredible for us. You already possess outstanding qualities and plenty of room to grow as part of this team. Looking forward to catching up soon. If you need anything, just reach out. Big love, Dec.”
