Reps suspend plenary to mourn Ifeanyi Uba

The House of Representatives has suspended its plenary session in honour of the late Senator Ifeanyi Uba on Tuesday.

Uba passed away in London on the 27th of July during the National Assembly’s annual long recess.

As is customary for the House to adjourn plenary in the event of the death of a serving member, the House suspended its first legislative session since the death of Mr Uba.

The legislative session will resume on Wednesday.
