Real Madrid dominated the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards held in Dubai, taking home multiple prestigious honors in a glittering ceremony. The Spanish giants were the biggest winners of the night, with their players, coach, and president receiving well-deserved accolades for their outstanding performances on and off the pitch.
Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior was the standout performer, winning two major awards. He was named the Men’s Best Player of the Year, edging out stiff competition from Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammate Jude Bellingham. Vinícius also clinched the Best Player of the Year title, cementing his status as one of the best talents in world football.
Jude Bellingham, who has been in remarkable form since joining Real Madrid, also had a memorable night. The English midfielder was named the Best Midfielder of the Year, beating Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Ballon d’Or winner Rodri to the award. In addition, Bellingham received the Maradona Award, which celebrates exceptional talent and impact on the game.
Real Madrid’s triumphs extended beyond individual players. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was honored with the Career Award, recognizing his long-standing contributions to the sport. Meanwhile, head coach Carlo Ancelotti was named Best Coach of 2024, highlighting his role in maintaining Real Madrid’s success. The club itself received the prestigious Men’s Club of the Year Award, solidifying its position as the world’s premier football institution. Additionally, Florentino Pérez, the club’s president, was awarded the Best President of the Year title for his leadership and vision.
Other winners on the night included Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who was recognized with the Emerging Player Award as the Youngest Player of the Year. Cristiano Ronaldo added to his illustrious legacy by winning the Best Middle East Player of 2024 and the Top Goal Scorer of All Time Award. Former Barcelona and Brazil legend Dani Alves also received the Player Career Award, celebrating his achievements and contributions to football over the years.
