Presidential Debate: Trump pledges to deport migrants entering the U.S. from prisons and other facilities.

During a presidential debate in preparation for the US Presidential election, former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump made a statement regarding deporting migrants who arrive in the US after fleeing prisons and mental institutions if he were to be elected.

Trump claimed that there are millions of people entering the country from prisons, jails, mental institutions, and insane asylums, and he vowed to deport them.

This is not the first time that Trump has made such assertions, as he has consistently alleged that jails and mental institutions are deliberately releasing individuals with the intention of sending them to the US.

The debate between Trump and his opponent, Kamala Harris, covered a range of topics including abortion policies, immigration, inflation in the US, the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and the state of the US economy post-pandemic.
