President Tinubu Mourns Emir of Zuru

Abuja, NigeriaPresident Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Emir of Zuru, His Royal Highness Muhammadu Sani Sami (Gomo II), describing it as a significant loss for the nation.

The President acknowledged the retired general and former military governor of Bauchi State’s valuable contributions both as an administrator and a revered traditional ruler. He praised the late Emir’s sterling leadership that brought stability and development to the Zuru Emirate and Kebbi State.

In his condolence message, President Tinubu prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the late Emir eternal rest and comfort his family and subjects during this difficult time.

Major General Muhammadu Sani Sami passed away at the age of 81 in a London hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by four wives and seven children.
