Nigeria — President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Nigerian music sensation Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, on her win at the 67th.
Tems took home the Best African Music Performance award, bringing pride to Nigeria on the global stage for the second time.
The President commended Tems’ unique artistry and celebrated the rise of a new generation of young and multi-talented Nigerian musical artists who have propelled Afrobeats to international prominence.
He also congratulated other Nigerian artistes nominated for this year’s Grammy Award, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Lojay, Davido, and Burna Boy, acknowledging their contributions to music, job creation, and tourism promotion.
