Nigeria: Senior government officials and religious leaders have commended President Bola Tinubu’s leadership on his 73rd birthday, describing him as a visionary and inclusive leader committed to national development.
At a special thanksgiving service held at the Methodist Cathedral of Unity in Abuja, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume highlighted the administration’s achievements in governance, citing President Tinubu’s policies as driving economic reforms, alleviating poverty, and addressing critical national challenges.
Senator Akume emphasized the government’s initiatives, including the establishment of specialized universities and reforms in the oil sector, which demonstrate President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law and promoting good governance across Nigeria and the West African region. Bishop Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, praised President Tinubu for restoring investor confidence in Nigeria, positioning the country as a viable destination for global investment in less than two years.
The service featured intercessory prayers for the President and his family, as well as a special song by the Methodist women’s group, showcasing appreciation for the administration’s commitment to women’s welfare.
