The Presidency has announced that a cabinet reshuffle by President Bola Tinubu is expected imminently.
This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, during a briefing with State House correspondents on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
While Onanuga could not confirm if the reshuffle would occur before October 1, he stressed that it could take place at any moment.
President Tinubu, who appointed his current cabinet in August last year, has faced growing calls for a reshuffle from members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Nigerians, citing underperformance by certain ministers.
In a recent meeting with Northern leaders at the State House, President Tinubu acknowledged plans to reorganize his cabinet, further fueling anticipation of the upcoming changes.
