NIGERIA – Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to his colleagues and the public regarding his wives.
Reacting to actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, aka Baba Tee’s recent confession about sleeping with fellow actor Ijoba Lande’s wife, Portable condemned the act and warned that anyone who attempts such with his own wife would face dire consequences.
Portable Calls Out Baba Tee
In a series of voice notes sent to Baba Tee, Portable expressed disappointment over the revelation, stating that he had great respect for the actor and never expected such behavior.
“Baba Tee, with the way I like you so much, you shouldn’t be sleeping with other people’s wives,” Portable said.
The singer questioned the moral standards in the entertainment industry, saying, “You gave Lande’s wife doggy? Is that how you people behave in the movie industry? I swear to God, if anybody moves close to my own wife, the person would die.”
“It’s A Dirty Act That Brings Setback”
Portable further stated that sleeping with another man’s wife is an act that causes setbacks in life. He emphasized that there are many women in the world, so there is no reason for a man to engage in such an act knowingly.
“A man who sleeps with another man’s wife despite knowing her husband, it’s a setback for him,” he declared.
He urged Baba Tee to stop his actions, warning that it could lead to enmity between them. “Please, I’m begging you in God’s name. It won’t be good if we become enemies,” he added.
Portable’s warning has sparked reactions on social media, with many fans discussing the singer’s strong stance on infidelity and his protective nature over his wives.
