Lagos, Nigeria — Controversial Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed interest in joining the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show, while criticising the current line-up of housemates for lacking style and star appeal.
In a video posted on his Instagram story on Monday, Portable lamented his exclusion from the show, insisting that his presence would have elevated the entertainment value of the season.
He argued that none of the current housemates possess his level of charisma or celebrity influence, singling out only one contestant, Imisi, as having a true fashion sense.
“Big Brother, you never invite me. If una want make this season sweet, una for add me. The housemates no get swag, na only Imisi I see wey try,” Portable stated.
The singer went on to highlight his achievements, describing himself as a global star with a unique street identity. “I am a stylist, fashion designer, street king. I go anywhere I want, chill anywhere I want. I don go America, London. I get Benz, I get Chevrolet, and I get fans,” he added.
Portable maintained that his inclusion would bring more authenticity, energy, and entertainment to the Big Brother platform, calling on the show’s organisers to give him a chance.
