Controversial Big Brother Naija reality star Josephina Ijeoma Otabor, widely known as Phyna, has disclosed that Wizkid stands as the only Nigerian artist capable of earning her admiration.
Phyna attributed her newfound appreciation for the singer to his recent social media outburst, wherein he vehemently defended his decision to distance himself from the Afrobeats label, despite facing criticism.
The announcement by Wizkid stirred controversy, with the artist clarifying his stance and rebuking detractors who condemned his departure from the genre.
Expressing her admiration via the X platform, Phyna praised Wizkid, emphasizing his resilience and nonchalant attitude towards criticism.
In her Pidgin post, she exclaimed, “Omo I’m loving Wizkid now oooh. Baba no send anybody papa. Gosh…shea person fit change fave? Bcuz like this eh!!! Na only Star boy dy do wetin dy sweet me…Una papa.”
