Peseiro sets expectations low for AFCON qualifying match against Sao Tome

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has acknowledged that it would be challenging for his team to replicate their previous 10-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe. The three-time African champions achieved this impressive win against the True Patriots in Agadir, Morocco, last year. There is anticipation for another strong performance from the Super Eagles in their upcoming match against Adriano Eusebio’s side at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Peseiro, however, cautioned that achieving another 10-0 result would be difficult, describing it as a significant record. He emphasized the team’s commitment to scoring goals, winning the match, and securing the top spot in their group, asserting that they believe they are the best team in the group. Peseiro also praised the positive group dynamics and atmosphere within the team, expressing confidence in their ability to compete against any opponent.
