Abuja, Nigeria–The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced plans to formally inaugurate its 2025 National Convention Organising Committee on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the inauguration follows the approval of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and will be held at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, at 12 noon.
The 110-member committee will be chaired by the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri. He will be supported by Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, who has been appointed Vice Chairman, while Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, will serve as Secretary.
“The National Working Committee (NWC) urges all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to remain united, focused, and committed to the success of the PDP’s 2025 Elective National Convention, scheduled to take place in Ibadan, Oyo State, from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025,” the statement added.
