Osun and Ondo State Amotekun Corps Unite to Boost Security Along Shared Borders This Yuletide Season

 

The Osun Amotekun Corps is taking proactive steps to ensure a peaceful and secure environment during the festive season. To achieve this, they’ve deployed 300 personnel, including members of the tactical squad, to strategic locations across the state. Their primary mission is to maintain vigilance on the movement of people entering and leaving the state, while conducting surveillance in all parts of the state.

 

According to the Commander of Amotekun Corps, Dr. Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, a comprehensive security plan has been implemented to guarantee the safety of residents and visitors alike. This move demonstrates the corps’ commitment to safeguarding the state during the festive period.

 

 

Osun State is gearing up for a secure and peaceful festive season, thanks to the strategic security plan put in place by the Amotekun Corps. The plan includes robust intelligence gathering, enhanced visibility patrols, and collaborative efforts with other security agencies to guarantee public safety throughout the festive period.

 

According to Dr. Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, the Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, the deployed personnel will conduct extensive foot, vehicular, and motorcycle patrols across urban and rural areas of the state. The strategic deployment aims to deter criminal elements, detect and prevent illegal activities, and intercept potential threats at the 22 entry points into the state.
