Victor Osimhen’s remarkable overhead kick for Galatasaray against Antalyaspor has entered the record books, becoming one of the highest-scoring goals in football history.
As reported by CNN Turk, Osimhen’s goal, measured at 2.32 meters, ranks as the second-highest overhead kick ever recorded. The only other goal to surpass it was Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic strike for Real Madrid against Juventus during the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals in the 2017/2018 season, which reached a height of 2.38 meters.
This latest achievement adds to Osimhen’s impressive record, with the Nigerian forward already netting three goals for Galatasaray since joining the club on loan from Napoli FC this summer.
