NYSC Corps members tasked on National development

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state has called on 2023 Batch C Stream 1 National Youths Service Corps members deployed to the state to harness their skills and talents to the overall development of the area.

In a message to the Swearing-in, the corps members at the Permanent Orientation camp, Eziama Obaire in Nkwerre local government area of the state, the Governor urged the young graduates to avail themselves of the opportunities provided by the course especially the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme to improve their lots.

Also Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas has restated his unwavering commitment to the promotion of the welfare and security of the and other Corps Members serving in the state.

He tasked them to always uphold and imbibe time-tested core values of the scheme, that is Patriotism, Discipline, Duty, and Perseverance.

Similarly, Kano State, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of has charged corps members posted to the state to be patriotic and selfless in all their activities, to move the Nation to a greater height.

He urged them to avail themselves of the opportunity by participating in all the camp activities geared towards achieving the set objective.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf maintained that his administration was determined to make a huge investment in the youth corps members, stressing that all the needed support would be provided to ensure a conducive working environment for the corps members.

Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has commended the Federal Government and management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC for sustaining the scheme over the years, saying it has afforded educated Nigerians the opportunity to rightly channel their acquired skills and intellects towards national development.

Governor Abdulrazaq, represented by the State’s Supervising Commissioner for Youth Development and Chairman, NYSC Governing Board, Mallam Usman Lade noted that the NYSC was established to play a key role in the drive towards the achievement of national integration and building of a strong and egalitarian Nigeria.

The Kwara State Governor, charged the youth to avail themselves of the opportunity to serve the country, stressing that his administration would continue to ensure their security and improved welfare.
