Nigeria _ The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) FCT Command has arrested 37 suspected illegal scavengers, following a recent ban on scavenging activities within the Federal Capital Territory
According to FCT Commandant Dr. Olusola Odumosu, scavengers pose significant security risks, as some serve as informants for criminals, including armed robbers and kidnappers. The suspects were apprehended with vandalized items and dangerous weapons. The NSCDC has reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing the ban, calling on residents to collaborate in eradicating criminal elements in the FCT.
