Nottingham, England — Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has dismissed media reports suggesting a rift with manager Nuno Espírito Santo, reaffirming his full trust and solid relationship with the coach.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Marinakis acknowledged occasional tensions but emphasized the strong bond between himself, Nuno, and the players.
He said, “We are united, even in difficult times. We’ll make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations.”
Marinakis highlighted their shared commitment to Nottingham Forest’s success and affirmed Nuno as the right man to lead the club this season.
This comes after Nuno publicly expressed frustrations about the club’s slow summer recruitment but remains confident in his position and forthcoming discussions with the owner.
