A 30-year-old man, Mr. Ismaheel Olakanye, has been reported missing by the Ekiti State Police Command.
The Ekiti State Police Command has announced that Ismaheel Olakanye, a resident of Ado-Ekiti, has been missing since August 18.
The police spokesperson, DSP Sunday Abutu, released a statement on Thursday, stating that Olakanye left home at 8 am on August 18 and has not been seen since. Olakanye’s family and friends are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the police.
Olakanye is described as a dark-skinned man who stands 5 feet tall and speaks the Yoruba language fluently. He does not have any tribal markings on his body.
The Ekiti State Police Command is asking for the public’s help in locating Olakanye, and has asked anyone with information to contact the nearest police station. The police are also conducting an investigation into Olakanye’s disappearance.
