Anambra, Nigeria — Samuel Chinecherem Ezeh, a 27-year-old Nigerian fashion designer, has claimed a world record by creating a robe featuring the longest sleeves ever made, measuring an astounding 51.20 metres (167.97 feet).
Ezeh’s design surpasses iconic measurements such as the height of the Statue of Liberty (46.5 metres) and the length of an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 metres). The ambitious project required exceptional skill and determination, blending fashion with remarkable scale.
Currently a student at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Ezeh works as both a tailor and designer. He expressed his desire to take the record-breaking robe on a global tour to showcase Nigerian creativity on an international stage.
“I wish to take it on a tour to display it in different countries and cities to show the world what it looks like,” Ezeh said.
