President Bola Tinubu has given the green light for the continuation of Vincent Isegbe’s leadership as the Director-General of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS). This renewal of duties extends Isegbe’s tenure in the pivotal role for an additional five years.
According to a succinct communication from Tinubu’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, the President has expressed clear expectations for the Director-General. Tinubu anticipates Isegbe to capitalize on the recent commendable performance of the service, which secured its position among the top three agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria in the efficiency and transparency index recognized by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
