Nigeria’s Naira on Wednesday depreciated against the US dollar at both investor’s and exporters’ avenues, exchanging at N763.17.
The open indicative rate closed at N741.21 to the dollar on Wednesday.
NAN reports that the Naira depreciated by 0.87 per cent compared with N756.61, which the currency was excuhanged for the dollar on Tuesday.
Naira was exchanged on the same day with N815 to the dollar which stands as the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it went down at N763.17. which was a stable one.
The Naira was sold for as low as 476 to the dollar within the day’s trading which amount to be the lower rate the same daym
On Wednesday, $96.44 million was traded at the official investors and exporters window.
