NAHCON outlined three categories of fares: the lowest for Borno and Adamawa pilgrims, set at N8.32 million, while pilgrims from Southern states will pay the highest, pegged at N8.78 million. The fare for pilgrims from the Northern zone stands at N8.45 million.

The 2025 Hajj fare, Prof. Usman explained, was finalized following approval from the Office of the Vice President. He commended the collaboration between NAHCON and other stakeholders, including Malam Ameen Amshi, Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties, for their efforts in maintaining the fares within a reasonable range.
“NAHCON Chairman and his team, along with state executive secretaries and representatives, worked tirelessly to ensure the Hajj fare remained affordable,” the statement read.
Prof. Usman further acknowledged the leadership of the Forum of State Executive Secretaries, including Malam Idris Ahmad Almakura of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro of Kebbi State, and Alhaji Abubakar Salihu of Adamawa State, for their contributions in stabilizing the costs.
Describing the fare as a product of inclusive and extensive consultations, the NAHCON Chairman also praised the Presidency and all stakeholders for their support.
He urged intending pilgrims to ensure early payment and timely registration to comply with Saudi guidelines and avoid last-minute challenges.
