A ministerial nominee, Balarabe Abass has collapsed during screening on the floor of the senate.
According to a video on Channels TV, Lawal collapsed immediately after entertaining some questions from the lawmakers on Wednesday.
Abbas Lawal from Kaduna State, is one of the three additional ministers nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinuhu on Tuesday.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio directed that all cameras be turned off as the session was televised live, while efforts were made to resuscitate the nominee.
