The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun has been appointed as the Chairman of the African Governors’ Forum of the World Bank.
In a congratulatory message, the Ministry on its X handle said Mr Edun’s appointment will further create platforms of opportunities for the Nigeria to implement the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Ministry said the appointment marks the first time the country has assumed the role of Chairman in 60 years.
