Arsenal kicked off their Premier League campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Manchester United.
The Gunners are looking to finally win the title after finishing in second place for the last three years.
But for the Red Devils, they want to do better than their 15th-place finish from last season.
Although United started the game brightly, it was Mikel Arteta’s men who took the lead in the 13th minute.
Riccardo Calafiori reacted quickest inside the box to head home a Declan Rice corner-kick. The goal proved to be the only one scored in the game.
United’s best chance came in the second half but David Raya palmed away Bryan Mbeumo’s header.
Arsenal host Leeds United next, while United are away at Fulham.
