Man United Struggle Under Amorim – Shearer

Manchester, England —   Premier League icon Alan Shearer has labeled Manchester United’s current performance under manager Ruben Amorim as their worst yet.

Since Amorim took over following Erik ten Hag’s dismissal in October, the Red Devils have managed to improve by just one position on the league table.

The team’s struggles were further highlighted on Sunday when they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Brighton at Old Trafford.

Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Shearer criticized United’s inability to adapt to Amorim’s tactical approach.

“They’re actually worse now than they were under Ten Hag because of what this manager wants to do with his system,” Shearer remarked. “The players just can’t play the way he wants them to. They’re not suited to his style.”

The comments underscore growing concerns about United’s form and the challenges Amorim faces in implementing his vision for the team.
