Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has on Monday, made a new round of appointments.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Suleiman Olanrewaju, in Ibadan, the state capital, announced that the governor, who returned from a four-week annual leave, appointed Akin Akinleye as his Executive Assistant on Sports Development.
He also approved appointments to three boards.
The statement, quoting a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, noted that members were appointed to the Boards of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service, the Oyo State Pension Board, and the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State.
“The new appointees are as follows: For the Pacesetter Transport Service board: Oladosu Ademola (Vice Chairman, Oyo South) Akinsola Ismael (Member, Oyo South) Oluwakemi Alabi (Member, Oyo North) Mojeed Agbaje (Member, Oyo North)
Oladipupo Oluwarinu (Member, Oyo Central) Oyegbami Oyewale (Member, Oyo Central).
“For the Pension Board: Oluwatubosun Babarinde (Member, Oyo Central) Adeniyi Busola Esther (Member, Oyo South)
For the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State board: Mudasiru Busari (Member, Oyo North) Ajao Akinsanmi (Member, Oyo Central) Olumuyiwa Akinbiyi (Member, Oyo South).
“All appointments are effective immediately”, the statement read.
