Conversely, Mrs. Shade Ladayo emphasized the intolerability of enduring a nagging or abusive partner, advocating for the prioritization of personal well-being.

Instances of abusive marriages, such as the tragic death of Nigerian Gospel Artist Osinachi Nwachukwu, underscore the urgency of addressing marital strains. Here are several strategies for rejuvenating a faltering marriage:

1. Open Communication: Initiate candid discussions with your spouse to express concerns and seek common ground.
2. Professional Intervention: Consider engaging a marriage counselor or therapist to facilitate constructive dialogue and provide coping mechanisms.
3. Temporary Separation: Take a hiatus from each other to gain clarity and perspective, possibly through solo trips or outings with friends.
4. Self-Care: Focus on nurturing your physical, emotional, and mental well-being through activities that promote happiness and reduce stress.
5. Individual Pursuits: Cultivate personal interests and hobbies to foster personal growth and maintain a sense of identity within the relationship.
