Bergamo, Italy — Atalanta manager Ivan Juric has admitted he is unsure if Nigeria international Ademola Lookman will remain at the club beyond this summer.
Lookman has been training separately after submitting a transfer request and attempting to force a move to Inter Milan earlier this month.
Inter had two bids rejected by Atalanta and subsequently withdrew from negotiations, leading Lookman to return to training alone, separated from the squad.
Juric, speaking ahead of Atalanta’s Serie A clash with Parma on Saturday, said, “I don’t know anything about Lookman. It’s difficult to predict what will happen or whether he will stay.”
The 27-year-old winger, who has two years left on his contract, has also been linked with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
Atalanta may continue to sideline Lookman until a resolution is reached, with his representatives still exploring transfer options before the window closes.
