Spain– Diogo Jota, forward for Liverpool FC and the Portuguese national team, has tragically died in a car accident at the age of 28.
The fatal incident occurred on the A-52 motorway near kilometre 65, close to the municipality of Palacios de Sanabria in Spain’s Zamora province. Spanish sports outlet MARCA reported the news on Thursday, confirming that Jota was pronounced dead at the scene.
