Liam bears no likeness to Mohbad, says the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba.

Joseph Aloba—The father of the late singer Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has expressed doubts about the paternity of Liam, his grandson.

Following the death of Mohbad on September 12, 2023, and his subsequent burial on Sept. 13, his body was exhumed for an autopsy by the Lagos state police command on September 21. Amidst the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s sudden passing, Joseph Aloba has been vocal in calling for justice and has insisted on a DNA test to confirm Liam’s biological connection to him.

During a recent interview on Silverbird Television, Aloba reiterated his skepticism about Liam’s resemblance to his late son Mohbad, prompting the need for a paternity test to establish the biological relationship. When asked if Liam looked like Mohbad, Aloba responded by stating that based on his observations, Liam does not appear to be his grandson.

He emphasized that as a father, he expected the child to be brought to him and DNA testing to be conducted privately. However, since the matter has become public, Aloba indicated that he would only accept Liam as his grandson if the DNA test proves that he is indeed related to Mohbad.
