Leicester, England — Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed Wilfred Ndidi is fit and available for the FA Cup clash against Manchester United.
Ndidi, who has been sidelined since December due to an injury sustained in a Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion, has now rejoined full training at Seagrave.
Providing an update, van Nistelrooy assured reporters on Thursday that the Nigerian midfielder is set to feature in the squad for Friday’s fourth-round fixture.
“Wilf is fine. He trained well last week and this week, so he’ll be part of the squad tomorrow,” the manager stated.
He also revealed that a few players are dealing with minor injuries, noting that their availability will be determined after final assessments.
“We have two or three players with light injuries. We’ll assess them today before deciding if they can travel,” he added.
The statement concluded with Leicester’s anticipation of a strong squad as they prepare to face Manchester United.
