Singer Kcee has announced that he and his brother, Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, will provide for the children of the late Nollywood actor Junior Pope until they reach adulthood.
The announcement was made during Junior Pope’s funeral in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State, on Friday.
Kcee stated, “On behalf of my brother, E-Money, and our friends, I want to extend our condolences to the family. Junior Pope was a blessing to this generation. He is someone we will never forget.”
“My brother is the godfather of his first son. Our friendship with Junior Pope spans many years. Following the tragic incident, my brother and I decided to take responsibility for his three sons until they are grown,” he added.
Junior Pope tragically passed away on April 10, 2024, along with three others, when their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film location.
