Kanye West’s X Account Deactivated After Controversial Post

Los Angeles, USA Kanye West’s account on X has been deactivated following a series of controversial posts, including inflammatory remarks and references to anti-Semitism.

It remains uncertain whether the deactivation was a personal decision by Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, or an action taken by the platform.

In his final message before the account disappeared, Ye wrote, “I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” in reference to X owner Elon Musk.

The 47-year-old artist has a history of social media suspensions, having previously faced an eight-month ban from X for violating the platform’s policies on incitement to violence.

Ye’s recent posts also included statements of support for music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing sex trafficking allegations. Additionally, he made provocative self-references as a “Nazi” and alluded to his controversial appearance at the Grammys, where his wife, Bianca Censori, drew attention for her sheer outfit on the red carpet.

As of now, X has not released an official statement regarding the status of his account.

Ye has previously spoken about his struggles with bipolar disorder and, more recently, claimed on a podcast that he had been diagnosed with autism.
