Kano State Governor Abba kabir Yusif has reaffirmed his commitment to work with the Republic of Ghana for enhance service delivery in the health sector.
The Governor disclosed this while receiving the Deputy Minister of Health for the the Republic of Ghana Mr Mahma Asei Seini, who Paid him a working visit at the government house Kano.
He said Nigeria and Ghana shares rich traditional heritage, which is a clear demonstration of brotherhood that has existed for decades.
Abba kabir claimed his administration has achieved a great milestone since assumption of office hundred days ago.
“Since taking office, our administration has offered free maternity care to expectant mothers, renovated state hospitals, and will shortly begin general hospital rehabilitation across the board”.
He disclosed that his administration will soon begin operating mobile clinics stating that the necessary cars and equipment had already been purchased.
Deputy Minister of Health for the the Republic of Ghana Mr Mahma Asei Seini, said their presence in Kano was intended to strengthen ties between the two nations.
He pledged the republic of Ghana’s commitment to seeing that the established objectives were achieved.
