American rapper Cardi B has disclosed that she almost had a miscarriage following a recent “freak accident.”
The hip-hop star, who didn’t specify the nature of the accident, however, said it left her paralysed.
“I had a f*cking freak accident. It doesn’t really happen often, but it became something that was so big to the point I was literally paralyzed. It almost cost me my little one to come,” she said during a recent chat with fans on X.
Cardi B, who recently announced her third pregnancy, said that thankfully, the incident didn’t result in a miscarriage. However, she came home from the hospital “high as a kite” because she took morphine to help deal with the pain.
The rapper said she wouldn’t hesitate to return to the hospital if the symptoms of pain persist.
This comes after Cardi B confirmed that her husband, Offset, is the father of the third child she’s expecting amid her divorce from the Migos rapper.
Cardi B and Offset secretly married in 2017 and have since welcomed two children together: daughter Kulture, 6, and son, Wave, 2, with a third baby on the way.
According to an American outlet–People,Cardi B is seeking primary custody of their children in the divorce filing.
