Hunger Protest: Monarch Calls for Peace

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has urged residents of Kwara State to maintain peace and avoid actions that could lead to a breakdown of law and order.

In a statement issued by the monarch’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir emphasized that dialogue is essential for fostering peace and harmony.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari noted that the economic hardship is a global issue that necessitates prayers and urged residents to approach it with understanding, perseverance, and patriotism.

He called on the people to support the state government in fulfilling its mandate to provide security for lives and property.

Additionally, the monarch appealed to all levels of government to address the concerns of the populace promptly and effectively.
