In a disturbing incident unfolding at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, a second-year student named Chioma has reportedly unleashed a violent attack on her hostel president, Mark, by pouring scalding hot water and stabbing him. The catalyst for this altercation is believed to be an ongoing dispute concerning the sanitation standards within their shared school hostel.

According to information obtained from a Facebook source, Valentine Mbadugha, the confrontation transpired on Saturday, 17th February 2024, within the confines of Twins Fall Lodge, Ifite-Awka. The disagreement reached a boiling point when Mark reminded Chioma of her responsibility to contribute to the cleanliness of the hostel.
