Reports have emerged of the demise of Senator Ayogu Eze from Enugu State.
The late Senator represented the Enugu North Senatorial District in the National Assembly and was known for his role as a former Senate spokesman.
Sources revealed that Senator Eze succumbed to a prolonged illness at an Abuja hospital.
It was noted that the late Senator had been battling health challenges, which prevented him from attending his child’s wedding earlier in the year in Lagos State.
Senator Eze, a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and contested in the Enugu State governorship election.
