Governor Rotimi Akeredolu writes Ondo State House of Assembly seeking a 21-day leave for medical treatment abroad. His Deputy, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa will act as Governor while he is away.
Mr Akeredolu informed the parliament that he had designated Deputy Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to act as the governor during the period of his treatment, saying he will be resuming work upon completion of his medical leave.
The leave period commenced on the 7th of June and expected to terminate on the 6th of July,2023, public calculated into the period. There have been series of speculations about the state of the Governor’s health for weeks now
