Governor Dapo Abiodun has inaugurated the newly redesigned Ogun State House of Assembly complex in Abeokuta, coinciding with his presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill.
During the unveiling, Governor Abiodun praised the 10th Assembly, led by Speaker Oludaisi Elemide, for their role in transforming the 45-year-old structure into a modern legislative facility. He highlighted the renovation as a significant milestone in infrastructure development, positioning the complex among the best legislative buildings globally.
“This extensive rehabilitation demonstrates our commitment to advancing infrastructure and delivering good governance,” Abiodun stated.
Speaker Elemide expressed appreciation to both the lawmakers and the Governor for their collaboration in realizing the project. He described the redesigned complex as a landmark achievement that reflects the administration’s focus on progress and development.
The revamped facility is expected to enhance legislative functions and improve governance efficiency across Ogun State.
