FRSC sends 430 personnel to Jigawa for Eid-el-Kabir celebrations

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Jigawa State Command has deployed 430 personnel and nine vehicles in preparation for the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

Mr. Usman Ibrahim, the State Sector Commandant, announced this to the press in Dutse, emphasizing the command’s commitment to ensuring a safe and crash-free celebration during the holiday period.

Ibrahim explained that proactive measures have been implemented to address road safety issues and combat road crashes across the state during the festive season. The special patrol operation aims to reduce road traffic crashes, fatalities, injuries, and ensure prompt response to crash victims.

Additionally, aggressive enforcement strategies, including the use of mobile courts to prosecute traffic law offenders, will be carried out by the command.

He urged road users to cooperate with the FRSC personnel to facilitate a successful and safe conduct of the exercise.
