Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, former Senate President, has announced the passing of his mother, Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, at the age of 89.
In a heartfelt statement, Dr. Saraki shared that his mother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
“With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned on Tuesday.”
Dr. Saraki indicated that details regarding the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. He expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support as the family mourns their loss.
