Former Konga CEO Allegedly Commits Suicide

Nick Imudia, the former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, has allegedly taken his own life at his residence in Lekki, Lagos.

Reports indicate that Imudia ended his life on the night of Tuesday, June 25, by jumping from his apartment balcony.

The report states: “Before jumping, he contacted his US-based brother, providing instructions on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his death. He also called his young daughter from a previous relationship, telling her that he would always be with her and that she could see him in the sky whenever she needed him.”

His death has left friends, family, and associates in shock, with no clear understanding of why he decided to commit suicide.

Originally from the Ika South local government area of Delta State, Imudia was previously married to the mother of his young daughter, who was also from the same local government. Their marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

Tayo Oviosu, founder of Paga, expressed his sadness over Imudia’s passing, saying, “We recently met at a retreat with other CEOs, and I left thinking he was a lovely human and leader. My condolences to his family.”
