The Federal Government has commenced the construction of Gusau International Airport in Zamfara State, with the project officially inaugurated by Minister of Aviation, Dr. Festus Keyamo.
During the inauguration of the 62 billion naira project, Dr. Keyamo highlighted the significant benefits the airport will bring to both the state and the country. He emphasized that the new airport will boost agricultural and business activities in Zamfara.
The Minister assured that technical teams are working diligently to ensure the project’s timely completion, reiterating the Federal Government’s commitment to supporting the construction.
Governor Dauda Lawal also spoke at the event, emphasizing that the airport will receive the necessary attention to ensure its completion within the set timeframe.
