Fenerbahce’s Safi shows interest to Fund Osimhen Transfer

Istanbul, Turkey —  Fenerbahce board member Hakan Safi has declared his willingness to personally finance the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the upcoming transfer window.

In a recent statement made to DeparSports, Safi revealed his eagerness to bring the prolific forward to Fenerbahce, pledging financial support to secure the deal.

“Let’s unite and make this transfer happen. I’m ready to provide the funds if needed,” he said confidently.

Osimhen, currently on loan to Galatasaray, has yet to announce his next move as his loan deal nears its end this summer. Since his arrival in Turkey, the Super Eagles star has been in exceptional form—scoring 31 goals in 36 matches across all competitions.

His outstanding performance has not only contributed to Galatasaray’s title charge but has also caught the attention of top clubs, including arch-rivals Fenerbahce.

With a potential domestic double in sight, Osimhen’s future remains a major talking point, and Safi’s bold offer signals Fenerbahce’s intent to make a high-profile swoop.
